Offered up purely for the cute vote….
Don’t expect a great deal of excitement on this blog for a while. This will remain one of the most home-bound periods to be documented on here, for some weeks to come yet. And on days when I am just working at home, with flat, dull light outside, it’s time to start trying things with colour and form.
This is one of those places that is either totally empty or heaving with people. Better this way, I think. A study in colour and form from the University Place building on campus.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The only real spiritual benefit one gets from air travel is seeing the world from 30,000 feet. It can be an amazingly beautiful place.
The world outside struggles slowly into something that resembles spring. Meanwhile, in our house, an ordinary kind of Sunday; Clare in red corsetry reading a book in the bathroom, and wondering whether the blue ball in the bath is going to spring into life, like Rover in The Prisoner.
