The biannual trip to the tooth doctor is usually good for a pic — if only because it’s a well-lit activity. This is at least the second time Joe has been pictured mid-examination and I think I got one of myself in once, too. The next visit is in March, if you notice this kind of thing.
All my photos from today were very boring. It’s the fag butt of the summer holidays and we are marking time until everyone goes back to school and work next week. There have been days of romping through the fields and spinneys (well, sort of) but not today. And as you might notice, it’s a DVD that goes on for a while.
My family. No further comment necessary.
Tour de France tomorrow.
Joe has featured on this blog more than any other person. Among other things it therefore also becomes a chronicle of his development, at least in the last two and three quarter years, since his first appearance in September 2011. More and more you can see how his teenage face is going to turn out.
No real chance for much more than a domestic scene today. The notable thing about this one was that as the clocks went forward last night, it was still light at 7.30 this evening. The world turns…
We are still getting through the packing for Joe’s birthday presents. Is it possible to resist the lure of bubble wrap?
It’s been a strange week, but it ended as many do, and certainly resembled the start of most of those weekends that come just after pay day — that is, we ate out. Here’s to the weekend.
Not that I typically do this retail therapy crap. But sometimes, needs must. Joe tries to make out he’s taking an interest.
Never seen the point of this particular puzzle myself — but Clare likes it and it’s good brain-exercise for the Boy. Sunday afternoon in the pub: a relaxing weekend comes to a close.
