Fairly warm and dry the weather has been — and this is a spot that catches the sun. All the same, surely that can’t be a fully ripe blackberry in the first week of July? But it is. Or was, as shortly after taking the shot I ate the fruit, and very nice it was.
We have yet to put our clocks back, and so the level of darkness in Manchester this Friday morning is somewhat boosted by the extra hour, but even after this weekend things will catch up soon enough and this will be a common enough sight for me in the run up to Christmas. For now, Halloween tat is in charge. The spectral yellow blobs to centre right may or may not be evidence of spiritual involvement.
First time on the 6:31 train in a while, and first time rising before the sun in many months. There is something pleasant about it, but only when it is the exception: I do not envy those who have to do this kind of thing all winter.
After three days in a rather blue theme, let’s go monochrome, which seems somehow fitting for the fact I was in work so early this morning this car park hadn’t even begun filling up. Still, it’s my only day in Manchester this week, so let’s be acceptant of it all.
