Ferns, or aliens

Sunday 3rd May 2026, 2.30pm (day 5,365)

Fern aliens, 3/5/26

In evolutionary terms ferns are much older than grasses, I believe. There is something primordial about them, a beauty to them as they uncurl, though also something disquieting too. Audrey II artichokes, 20/5/17
