My day in Manchester was OK but I had a greatly extended journey home for reasons that are too ridiculous to report here. But it was nice to come home to a beautiful evening. This is the tree in our allotment garden, which actually I keep wanting to get cut down, but we’ll give it its due credit tonight. So nice to still have light in the sky at this time of night, as well.
Another year, still here. But that’s a good thing.
A definite ‘Thank God it’s Friday’ day and also ‘thank God I was not commuting into Manchester’ after the last two days (I won’t bore you with the details). Those working in Calrec Audio as dusk fell this Friday may or may not have felt their own version of the same emotions.
The night falls earlier and earlier — but of course that is the time of year. The real shock to the system will come a week from today, when the clocks go back.
