Joe goes back to school tomorrow after his summer vacation. On this photo you can almost see the rain still falling. Someone’s telling us, ‘That’s your summer mate. That was it, gone. It’ll be back in another three-quarters of a year.’

Blimey, what’s the building? It looks quite formidable.
It’s Nutclough Mill in Hebden Bridge, an old textile mill, and still used for industry (amazingly so when most similar buildings have long been broken up into apartments) – it’s now a factory that makes audio equipment.
