Our acquaintance Toby is something of a scavenger, the sort of person who will go through the skip outside your house and in five minutes retrieve from it a range of interesting items that you had no idea could be found within. What he has in mind for these various 3-D puzzles, who knows — but I do not think it involves simply putting this one back together.
We had visitors in the house today, and this will make no more difference to anyone’s life than if we were to do the same thing next week. Unless you ascribe to the views of the moronocracy, who’d rather blame us for their own failings, and screw up local economies just that little bit more. Meanwhile, Ellie & Marcus work on the jigsaw. It’s half-term.
Exciting times in the household as the jigsaw map of Brighton that was a Christmas present is finally finished five months later. With all three of us present to witness this stellar event, you can tell it’s the half-term holiday. Life doesn’t get more uneventful than this.
