Graduation fortnight is over, the school holidays have started, and campus was blissfully quiet today. It would be lovely if it stayed like this forever; but we have about seven weeks.

A morning meeting with a colleague, held in the pleasant surroundings of the Christie Bistro. I had my usual builder’s brew but she went for the mint tea option and I was taken by the appearance of the leaves suspended in the water. As you see here. (I mean, that’s what this blog is, isn’t it? I show you what I see each day…)
Also, a minor milestone — I make this the blog’s 500th Manchester shot.
Haven’t been feeling very inspired lately but a few moments of good light in a grey day, a lot of cropping and going monochrome raise the interest here. This is one of the University’s more laid-back corners, a café located in what, about 100 years ago, was the main campus library.
