Plenty of work to do after Easter, which today meant another day locked in the house with limited photographic opportunities. The knowing look on the face of this rook was the best I managed, and even then it’s somewhat out of focus. But then again, that also epitomises the day.

Sorry to be negative, but these aren’t Rooks, they’re Jackdaws, another crow species. And I see another of your pictures here, which shows the Jackdaw’s white eye. 🙂
I thought they had different looking beaks to the jackdaws though. But probably you are right, looking at it again. I get these two species mixed up frequently…
