Holiday weekend in Leeds

Actually, Leeds city centre was phenomenally busy this afternoon. It seems that, by law, one is only allowed to visit there on a Saturday if one is a member of a sten or hag party. But this shot seems to catch the one deserted street, even at henstag rush hour, as with the opening shots of 28 Days Later.

Ducks take over, 4/4/20

That ominous crumbling, shattering sound you hear from behind closed doors is your local economy. This square, on a Saturday morning, should not be inhabited only by ducks. And even they’re missing their usual benefits. These two were responding to a rumour that bread was being handed out by the old bridge.
